Forged 4340 steel crankshafts are exceptionally light (just 40-42 pounds) with pendulum cut and profiled counterweights and gun-drilled main line holes. Crankshafts are nitride hardened for increased wear resistance. Straight shot, chamfered oil holes improve lubrication.
