Ram “Assault Weapon” button-style clutches are among the lightest and most affordable metallic clutches available. Each utilizes a billet-machined steel button flywheel and open design to eliminate heat and dirt build-up inside the unit. The patented Rametallic friction discs stand up to occasional slippage that often puts multi-disc clutches out of commission, and the absence of internal splines eliminates the possibility of floater plate hang up. Button units are for use with a flexplate. Throw-out bearing must be purchased separately.
