Permatex The Right Stuff Grey 1-Minute Grey Gasket Maker

Specifically designed to perform under higher torque loads associated with engines having closely spaced bolt patterns (typically import vehicles). This product is blowout resistant, allowing leakproof gaskets to be made and put into service in just one minute. Sensor-safe, the Right Stuff^® GREY seals instantly, forming a reliable, long lasting elastomeric rubber gasket that outperforms precut gaskets. Specified by major import OEMs, this material is resistant to powertrain fluids (oil, coolant, and ATF) and operates in environments to 450°F (232°C) continuous; 500°F (260°C) intermittent.

Instructions

Clean and dry parts. Cut nozzle to apply a continuous 2 to 6 mm (1/16” to 1/4”) bead. A 3 mm (1/8) bead is sufficient in most applications. Activate PowerBead^™ by twisting nozzle counterclockwise one complete revolution. This will raise trigger. Depress trigger to dispense. On first use, allow a second or two for the valve and nozzle to self-prime before product actually dispenses. Regulate pressure and flow by varying depression angle. Apply bead to one surface only, surrounding all bolt holes and evenly dispensing around entire circumference. Assemble parts within five minutes, tightening bolts to recommended torque levels. Material will fill any surface imperfection. Equipment can be returned to service immediately. After use, simply wipe excess material from applicator’s nozzle and replace plastic cap with a “click.”
