The Mac's Canopy/Awning Tie-Down Kit is constructed with the same high-strength webbing, ratchet fitting and components as our other industry-leading tie-down products. This includes our easy-release ratchet system, so setup and take-down is easier than ever!
The heart of the kit is the Cinch Strap Tie-Down. It is fabricated to the same standards as Mac's automotive tie-down straps, with an incredible 10,000 lb Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) to handle even the strongest wind gusts. The strap offers a generous 12 foot length, to secure tents, canopies or awnings of any height. The strap is attached to your awning using the strap's soft Cordura-lined looped end, which protects the finish of your awning hardware.

Ratchet The hook end of the Cinch Strap includes our famously easy-to-use ratchet. Recent design changes to our ratchet handle make it better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any "stickiness" common when adjusting most other ratchets. The one piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.
Heavy Duty Hardware Components Won't Fail A strong tie-down means nothing if your anchor doesn't hold. That's why we've designed our tent stake fitting from a single piece of 1/4" bent steel plate. The tent stake fitting is more than capable of transferring the tie-down loads to the included 3/4" x 2 foot steel tent stake. The tent stake fitting even includes a 1" diameter hole to accommodate an even larger tent stake.
The complete system provides a robust anchor point that won't fail, even with the highest of tension loads. You'll never have to worry about strong winds wreaking havoc on your setup.

Canvas Tool Bag And when you're packing it in, the Mac's Large Canvas Tool Bag will keep your kit together. The tough canvas body of this bag is ready to handle your tie down hardware. The bag now includes a heavy duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when wearing gloves. An internal frame has been added to support the bag when it's open, making the contents more accessible. The generous interior is large enough to hold a complete set of 2" tie downs, with room to spare. The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.
Made in the USA! Each tie-down strap is carefully sewn and assembled in Mac's Sandpoint, Idaho shop. This allows them to retain a level of quality that is often lost when manufacturing is outsourced. Plus, it is great to hear of a manufacturer that wants to create American jobs!
