The heart of the kit is the Cinch Strap Tie-Down. It is fabricated to the same standards as our automotive tie-down straps, with an incredible 10,000lb Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) to handle even the strongest wind gusts. The strap offers a generous 12 foot length, to secure tents, canopies or awnings of any height. The strap is attached to your awning using the strap's soft Cordura-lined looped end, which protects the finish of your awning hardware.
The easy release ratchet handle eliminates any adjustment stickiness The hook end of the Cinch Strap includes are famously easy-to-use ratchet. Recent design changes to our ratchet handle make it better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any "stickiness" common when adjusting most other ratchets.
The one piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.
Heavy Duty Hardware Components That Won't Fail
A strong tie-down means nothing if your anchor doesn't hold. That's why we've designed our tent stake fitting from a single piece of 1/4" bent steel plate. The tent stake fitting is more than capable of transferring the tie-down loads to the included 3/4" x 2 foot steel tent stake. The tent stake fitting even includes a 1" diameter hole to accommodate an even larger tent stake.
The complete system provides a robust anchor point that won't fail, even with the highest of tension loads. You'll never have to worry about strong winds wreaking havoc on your setup.

We've even included our handy Mac's Strap Wrap. During setup, us the rubberized hook-and-loop strap to secure excess tie-down strapping. When it's time to hit the road, use the Mac's Strap Wrap to bundle your Cinch Strap Tie-Down for convenient storage.
