CT-1 Dry Film Lubricant Coated Engine Bearings
This high-performance H-Series connecting rod bearing is designed for small-block Chevy engines and features a dry-film lubricant coating. Engineered for racing and extreme-duty use, it reduces friction, improves wear resistance, and provides added protection during startup and temporary oil loss. Its tri-metal construction and precision geometry ensure consistent oil control, durability, and reliability in high-RPM, high-load environments.
Calico Coatings full line of Clevite 77 H-series engine bearings are coated with CT-1, a dry film lubricant that increases performance and improves durability. The coating is a blend of molybdenum disulfide, graphite and PTFE lubricants that greatly reduces coefficient of friction and increases load carrying ability. It also reduces surface temperatures, resists fuel “wash”, and protects against corrosion. Please specify bearing sizing (Std., 0.001", 0.010", 0.020", etc.) when ordering. Most rod bearings are narrowed for increased fillet clearance and include an “N” in the suffix to specify.
Notes: When a “D” suffix is added to the part number, bearings include dowel pin holes, while an “X” suffix indicates bearings with 0.001" added oil clearance.
