408 Cu. In/450 HP  Small Block Ford Crate Engine

Small block Ford Windsor 408 cu. in crate engines provide 450 dyno-proven horsepower. Crate engines are assembled using a seasoned two-bolt main block that is fitted with a cast steel 4.000" stroke crankshaft, forged I-beam connecting rods, forged pistons, and a hydraulic roller camshaft with 236°/248° duration @ .050" with .579"/.579" valve lift. Engines are topped with aluminum cylinder heads with 60cc combustion chambers and 2.02" intake/1.60" exhaust valves. Long block includes valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan. Dressed engine includes the addition of an aluminum intake manifold, distributor, and carburetor.
