Allstar Street/Strip Distributor with Rev-Limiter, Chevy V8

This performance electronic distributor includes a soft touch rev control, ignition timing start retard function and an adjustable vacuum advance for street use. Simple four wire connection only requires a 12V power source and an external coil. The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum housing features a sealed upper support bearing and an extra-long lower bronze bushing which helps maintains accurate timing at higher RPMs. The small bodied design is perfect for early muscle cars when firewall clearance is often a concern.

Distributors include a molded cap and rotor with plug wire retainer, an optional vacuum advance lock out plate, a mechanical advance curve kit, a weather pack harness for simple coil connection and installation instructions.

Note: This distributor includes a melonized drive gear compatible with most flat tappet or hydraulic roller camshafts. If used with a mechanical roller camshaft, a bronze or other compatible gear should be used as recommended by the cam manufacturer. .500" shaft distance from block mounting flange to top of cap is 8-3/8". Use with part numbers ALL81232 OR ALL81234 ignition coils or equivalent.
