ShurTrax soft shackles provide an easy and secure way to connect a recovery rope to a vehicle, and are designed to help prevent damage and wear to recovery ropes. Made from a tough, stretch-resistant ½” diameter UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) rope and covered with a special abrasion-resistant sleeve, soft shackles can handle loads up to 11,200 lbs. and have a breaking strength of 44,800 lbs.
