Utilizing a new cast iron, 4-bolt main block, manufactured and machined in the USA, 400 cu. in. long block is assembled using a forged, 3.750" stroke crankshaft, OEM type 5.700" connecting rods with 150,000 PSI fasteners, forged 10.3:1 pistons, and a hydraulic roller camshaft with 236°/242° duration @ .050" with .555"/.576" valve lift. Block is topped with a set of aluminum 220cc intake runner cylinder heads with 64cc combustion chambers and 2.08" intake/1.60" exhaust valves.
Notes: Engine does have a provision for a mechanical fuel pump. Intake manifold, harmonic balancer, water pump, flywheel/flexplate, and fuel pump. Starter not included.
