Dexron® VI Synthetic ATF is a newly engineered, fully licensed, next generation 100% synthetic automatic transmission fluid designed and approved to meet General Motors latest and most stringent ATF requirements. It is recommended for use in the new GM 6-speed transmissions as well as earlier transmissions that required Dexron® III H, Dexron® III G, Dexron® III, Dexron® II-E, Dexron® II and all prior Dexron® automatic transmission fluids. Dexron® VI is formulated to provide improved oxidation stability, greater shear stability, friction durability, foam resistance and twice the service life when compared with the older fluids. It is also recommended for use in hydraulic systems and almost all power steering units, worldwide.
